MP3 ripping CD
What bit rate should I choose when ripping CD's to mp3?
It's totally your preference. I personally use 192 Kbps. 128 Kbps is CD Quality, and is also the smallest size files [Averaging 57 MBs a CD]. 320 Kbps is the highest quality Windows Media Player offers, therefore it sounds the best, but it is also the largest file size [Averaging 144 MB per CD]. If you want to keep them small, go 128 Kpbs. If you want the best quality, go 320 Kbps. I like 192 Kbps because its in the middle. If you have a smaller hard drive, though, I'd recommend 128 or 192 Kbps.
