Taking pity on the girl, Margo takes Eve as her personal assistant. Before long, it becomes apparent that naïve Eve is a Machiavellian conniver who cold-bloodedly uses Margo, her director Bill Sampson (Gary Merill), Lloyd's wife Karen (Celeste Holm), and waspish critic Addison De Witt (George Sanders) to rise to the top of the theatrical heap. Also appearing in All About Eve is Marilyn Monroe, introduced by Addison De Witt as a graduate of the Copacabana school of dramatic art. Our Review
The LG GW620 Eve is a smart phone sporting a 320×480 pixel display and a QWERTY keyboard. The phone runs on a Android operating system and has compatibility with GSM quad band and UMTS dual band. The phone has an integrated video playing facility which allows users to play back video recordings. With a built in music player this handset can be great when one is on the move.
This phone is a 3G Smartphone with slide opening QWERTY keyboard and touch screen and good messaging and communication features. It has a smooth finish and the color combination of the phone and the keyboard makes it pleasant to the eyes. The touch screen is good and allows one to guide through menus easily. While it is a resistive touch screen and not a capacitive touch screen, meaning it responds to pressure not heat, it is still functional and practical in its use. The smooth slide out keyboard and the well positioned keyboard layout makes inputting text easy.
This Smartphone supports Wi-Fi technology enabling the user to connect to any hotspot or WLAN which is nearby and thereby get hooked on to the network. The GPRS and the EDGE technology enable the user to download materials at a fast speed and have fast file transfers too. The user can make use of high speed internet thanks to the phone having 3G technology.
The LG GW620 Eve is good for sending e-mails. A push e-mail service utilising a sync between Google's Gmail and your personal email account, allows for creating, sending and receiving of e-mails at a fast speed. The phone also comes with other features such as instant messaging, multimedia messaging and text messaging. The user has got the option of using the fine touch screen of the handset or use the QWERTY keyboard for typing text at a high speed.
A mobile handset can be more than just a phone at times. This handset allows for video playback including those received on the phone via MMS. You can also download and watch video from Youtube using your 3G or Wifi connection.
Another nice feature on this phone is the 5 megapixel camera which has a camera lens on the back of the handset. This allows the user to conveniently take still shots or video recordings when on the move. The automatic focus function ensures that the recording always remains in focus. The recorded footage can then be edited and sent to others via the multimedia messaging facility.
The Android operating system has brought about a revolution in the way handsets become functional. The Android operating system allows for access to Android Market, where you can view, download and use tens of thousands of applications like games, business, entertainment, social networking and many other functions. You can also sync your Calendar with your Google calendar, to allow you to keep up to date with all your meetings, task and appointmentsGT540 . With A=GPS you won't get lost again and will be able to use Google maps to find locations and obtain directions for where you want to go.
While the handset is not small weighing 139 grams, and measuring 109 x 54.5 x 15.9 mm (H x W x D) it is about the same size if not smaller than most QWERTY slide phones. All said and done the LG GW620 Eve is a good handset to own given the features for the price.
