Covers $14.38 A cozy companion to One Man Band, James Taylor's 2007 intimate stroll through his back pages for Starbucks' Hear Music, Covers once again finds the singer/songwriter on familiar, friendly territory, as he returns to his easy rolling full band and digs into the songbook of the rock & roll era. It's his era, of course, the time he had hit singles, including many hit cover versions, as he points out himself in his brief liner notes to the album. All of this makes Covers feel perhaps even more comfortable than One Man Band, which had the distinction of its unique guitar-and-piano arrangements, something that made his hits sound relatively fresh. Photo Albums and Even More Fun Items
If you have a lot of photographs that are just sitting around gathering dust, you may want to purchase one of the many photo albums that are for sale. No matter if you have a digital camera or a film camera, there is something for everyone. Digital photo albums are wonderful for those people who own digital cameras. Digital photo albums are convenient because after you have filled your camera’s memory card up with photos, you are going to want to put them elsewhere so that you can take additional pictures. What you can do is bring them to a store and have them put on a photo disk. Digital photo albums have forty-eight photo disk slip-in pockets, so you can put your photo disks in there for printing out later on. Or, if you would prefer, you can print out a bunch of pictures and put them in the photo album, too. There are even spots for the index print, which is a list of all the photos on the disk. This is a great way to organize things so that you can empty your memory card, have all your pictures in one place still, and know what is on the disks. Not to mention, digital photo albums look wonderful on the shelf.
There are many sorts of traditional photo albums available as well, if you are a fan of film cameras or printing out digital photos. One familiar type of photo album that we have all seen is the self-adhesive sort. These albums fit pictures up to eight by ten inches and allow you to stick a few in on each page. These are nice because there is a clear plastic sheet that goes over the pictures after you’ve put them in, leaving a nice, glossy protective covering over your photos. These photos can be easily rearranged after you put them in, if you want to change the look of the album.
For the busy woman, day planners can make a wonderful gift. Planners are especially useful if you are the kind of person who’s frequently forgetful. It’s always good to have a planner to write in birthdays, anniversaries, or meetings. With the variety of colors, inks, fonts and fabric coverings available, they can be a little fashion statement in and of themselves! Pick a snazzy metallic silver planner that matches everything, or go for a racy red to match your purse.
